Because of the nature of long term care insurance (LTCI), decades may pass between the time a client’s LTCI policy is issued and the time he or she files a claim. However, once benefits are needed, chances are, they’re needed ASAP and unfortunately, filing a LTCI claim can be complicated.

If your agent isn’t returning your call, won’t offer you claims assistance or you feel like you know more about your LTCI policy then your agent, we suggest you make a switch to an expert!

Once you switch, we’ll do the following:

  1. Complete a full policy review – help you understand the benefits and requirements of your policy.
  2. Get all authorizations filed – we’ll notify your carrier, and we’ll complete all HIPAA requirements with you so we can work with your carrier on your behalf.
  3. Notify your family – we’ll let your family know that we’re your new agent. We’ll also give them a summary of what your policy benefits provide.

 

We recommend you switch before you need to make a claim. However, if you switch to us once you need to make a claim, or if you’ve already started your claim, we’ll get to work right away.
