Current Government Policy Regarding Long Term Care Insurance

Not long ago, it looked like the federal and state governments would address the growing need for Long Term Care Insurance (LTCI).  However, in recent years rather than subsidize LTCI, the government has created a variety of incentives for people to provide LTCI on their own.   What the government does provide is very limited and has very stringent requirements.
